Crumble Issue 9: Unsettled
In response to the rising wave of unjust and brutal violence stemming from far-right riots, Unsettled confronts a landscape fractured by the illusion of separation. The built environment—our cities, streets, and public spaces—has become a silent witness to this deepening unrest, shaped and scarred by the politics
of division.

This issue calls for independent, critical voices to stand in resistance—against violence, against separatism, and against the normalisation of fear. Through reflection, analysis, and creative expression, Unsettled seeks to navigate the tension of this moment, to question what has come apart, and to consider how we might piece together something more whole.

Becoming Designer-In-Chief for this role meant taking full responsibility for managing designers and ensuring consistency throughout the publication without compromising on visual interest.
